Grace McComisky graduated from London College of Fashion in 2011. She completed a BA (hons) Make-Up and Prosthetics for Performance resulting in a 1st class qualification in the subject. After she completed her course she started work on Tim Burtons film ‘Dark Shadows’ (released in May 2012) and then also worked on ‘World War Z’ a new zombie film featuring Brad Pitt.

She works as a professional freelance make-up artist in London working for a variety of productions, private clients and events. Her skills include all types of make-up including special fx, straight make-up, prosthetics, body painting, fancy dress, bridal and fashion. She also does wig making, hair styling and makes custom made pieces, props and puppets.

Outside of working in the film industry and doing other freelance work she runs a company called ‘Happy Slap Boutique’ providing entertainment for parties, events and festivals around the country. ‘Happy Slap Boutique’ is a collective of Make-Up Artists, DJs, Circus Performers, Actors and other creative people who work together to create unique performances and party areas at all types of events. They have a crew of up to 40 people who can bring you the best fun for all age groups and also offer entertainment for children’s parties.
